Managing Large Public and Private Acquisitions

Served as the lead Transition Manager for several very large (total over $6BN) and complex public to private corporate acquisitions in the U.S.

This involved starting out with extensive personnel interviews and assessments of all officers and senior executives to determine the proper mix of skills and leaders required for the future business plan.

This culminated in the establishment of a dramatically different and new management organization for these investment management and real estate ownership companies.

This requires insight into what changes can be made that are truly value added to the future operations of these businesses and avoid making changes just for change sake.

This also included analysis of all compensation plans and schemes and then inevitably designing new MBO bonus systems and long-term incentive compensation plans that more closely align the management interests with the owners in the implementation of the new business.
